A former professor of mine in Geo/Bio/Chem worked in Miller's lab, doing some of the first abiogenesis-on-clay experiments, so I feel a distant personal connection.

He was close by, apparently.

Not really. He had a moustache, for one thing. And he wore lots of flannel shirts. Even if I were gay, I probably wouldn't be into guys with moustaches and flannel shirts. I'd be into skinny femme guys. However, most of the gay guys I know are skinny femme guys, and I'm not into them, so I don't think I'm gay. I probably only think I'd be into the skinny femme ones because I'm into skinny females. If I were gay who knows what I'd think. It's like guys saying they could totally be lesbians if they were women. If they were women, they'd probably think differently as a result, so it's kind of meaningless.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I have always felt that Miller didn't receive the recognition (and Nobel) he deserved.

Sorry, I can't think of any witty comments.
