This is primo stuff. Somebody in another thread linked to it, and I saw so much information, i thought it might deserve its own thread. It appears to be a rich vein of that stuff we here love so much.

gees, ya gotta admit, whoever did this put a lot of effort into it, and has a lot of free time on their hands.

I wonder if AFDave has a hand in this somehow.

LOL

i love how under the "rapture" link, there is a picture of a partially open door with light coming through it.

looks like a promo for the matrix, part 2.

Evolutionist's hall of shame:

Quote
No matter how evolutionists try and repackage their theory. It will always be a racist theory because the person who thought it up was a racist. And is also the reason why the people in Sudan are being exterminated, and no evolutionist even lifts a finger to help.

Excellent! Right on the front page of the website they link to a story in WhirledNutDaily, an expose "where two 70 year old grandmas get put into jail for sharing their faith on a public sidewalk in America!

I predict that FtK will link to this site, or use some of their text, within the week...

And here is their apologia for Kent Hovind.

Notice how coy they are about what he actually DID to land in jail. Their description:

Quote
He spent to [sic] much time trying to fight Cesar [sic]

Note also that they never once mention Matthew 12:17, which Jesus actually DID talk about, as opposed to all their young earth bullshit.

So yes, it should be a valuable resource for 'Pirahna' lady.

But for the REAL stoopid, see here.

Thank FSM I have another appointment this afternoon or I would probably get sucked into reading more on this site...

Is there some rule which says that creationists don't have to learn spelling or grammar? On the "KentHovind" section of this site, we learn:

Quote
Being able to bare good fruit is God's sign of approval. Can a ministry bare fruit that is not approved by God? You might ask: But what about all the stuff that a person does? If God were to judge all ministries by the individual that runs it, how many would stand? And if you started one, and allowed God to judge it the way you judge others, how far would you get? Sin of opinionation.

I thought I'd heard of every sin, but I gotta admit, the "sin of opinionation" is a a new one for me.

I suppose this means that after the Rapture, there won't be any more blogs...

With good reason. It gets precisely two Google hits, both of them linking to our spelling-challenged friend.

Still don't think evolution is racist? Here we have a drawing of our origins coming from Africa (the new repackaged evolution idea). The arrows represent a evolution direction (like the evolution tree). Now look who is at the bottom. Now look who is at the top. So why do we come from Africa? Because that's where the sub-human black people live.

Or since north and south are arbitrary, if you turn the map upside-down...um...it still proves that evolution is racist.

And of course evolution is evil. It has something in common with Hitler AND Muslims! Extermination!!!
But let's be fair and balanced, shall we?

Ya can't beat religious fundamentalism.
No really, you can't beat it.

added: and looking over this site I realize that it's like a conspiracy theory website, and a very "high quality" one

Creationists in space! (linked to from here.

My God - it's full of bollocks...

Quote
Like the moving parts of a watch, our solar system moves in a precise way. Each planet orbits the sun in a certain amount of time. Each planet's orbit plays a key role in the workings of the solar system itself. And like the watch, remove a planet (or part of watch), and what you see will quit working.

No it won't.

Quote
Each one different than the other in both size and speed. But yet it all comes together to work like a finely tuned machined. And yet both are capable of keeping time. And yet one is designed, and the other just happened when something exploded (according to claims). But unlike the watch, our solar system contains something even more unique that the creation of either. And that is the creation of life, and a way to sustain it. Could life be sustained in a watch? Could the watch maker redesign the watch to do this? Of course not. But yet one took a designer, and the other, more complicated, just happened?

So maybe, just maybe, making an analogy between the solar system and a watch has its limitations.  Just a thought...

Quote
Could the watch maker add water and create a life sustaining Eco system? Could he add enough self sustaining heat in the absolute zero temps of space?

I suggest going out early tomorrow morning to look for a heat source in the solar system.  Maybe it will dawn on you.

Quote
So when you realize just how complicated our solar system is in it's design, even the watch comparison actually becomes some what of a mockery. It's like comparing a Yugo (a very cheap car), to the Space Shuttle. But the watch is the closest man can come to making something that compares even slightly to how complicated the workings are in our solar system. How it all just come together to work as one. So when someone tries to say that it just happens, and it all just works. You can really see the comment for what it really is. Which makes me wonder why science would even promote such comments because it reveals that they do not know as much as they would try and make you think they know. Which makes it more and more conceivable that all of this points to a divine Creator.

The motions of the bodies in the solar system are not that complex - the basic mechanics were figured out in the 17th century, and so well understood that Neptune was discovered mathematically in 1846.  What part of F=GMm/r^2 is so complicated that we have to invoke a deity?

And what is it with creationists and watches anyway?  Has nothing else been invented since Paley's day in Fundieland?

Can somebody remind me, again, what year Bob Jones University started admitting black students, and why?  Or when Bob Jones University stopped expelling students for interracial dating, and why?

And whether Bob Jones University teaches evolution or creationism in its, uh, biology classes?

Notice the fixation on "comments"?
I think these people think that's all it is: "Science" promoting "comments." Like the entire enterprise of empirical inquiry is just a message board that they're banned from, because of the mean, evilutionist admin.

Yeah, I get that sense from them. I got the sense from FtK that she thought a few people babbling on blogs in favor of 'intelligent design' was somehow roughly equivalent to the evolutionists publishing thousands of papers a year, making discoveries, inventing techniques, winning prizes and patents. That people like her think that the whole enterprise of science weighs about the same as a few Salvador Cordovas making snarky postdictions.

That's why I was asking her that set of questions. I really wanted to know if she genuinely couldn't tell those two things apart.

I could easily imagine a spoof of 2001 that used that line.

or did Mel Brooks already do that?

uh, yeah, under "harm minors in any way".

lies and misinformation cause harm to minors.  I would at least make the author require validation of age before entering, and limit the site to adults only.

:) Deep Space Mime:
Quote
This section is dedicated to the beauty and wonder of God's deep space creation. As you look at all of this beautiful art work, ask yourself how all of this could have been created by a mere explosions [sic]. Explosions make things travel outward.  And because there is nothing in space that can stop this travel, except gravity, would these gases still be together after almost 20 billion years? Even a rock that has been blown from something in space, keeps on traveling unless it hits something. But yet these gases are still close enough together to create all the beauty and wonder you see here, and on the pages beyond this one.

Still together, huh?  :D

Side note to evolutionists who are offended by what is said here: Out of all the evolution sites, forums, and blogs I have read. I have yet to see one evolutionist condemn what I have put up on these pages from one of their own sites. Which means one of two things. 1) Either all evolutionists condone what is written on these websites. 2) They are to afraid to speak out about these sites because they know they will be rejected by their peers for doing so. And this is why you will see what you see here. You refuse to speak up about what was going on, on sites like this (FSTDT.com). So now you will see it listed on a creationist site
