Even more curiously, he seemed to be a member of a conservative Christian religion, and there is no evidence that anyone in his church tried to intervene... Incidently, other cultures such as Korea have not yet accepted the whole mental health thing, especially for boys. Medical help for a psychiatric condition is rare. I don't know if they consider it a sign of weakness, or what.
