I recently had a creationist claim that a scientific paper described the same rock in Nigeria as providing three different ages.  A little searching found the same paper (Excess Rare Gases in a Subaerial Basalt from Nigeria) referenced on several creationist sites, but I have had no luck tracking down the paper itself.  It is typically referenced as being from Nature (or Nature Physical Science) 232, pages 60-61, from either 1970, 1971, or 1972, but no amount of searching Nature's archives has produced anything resembling that.  Any help that could be offered in tracking down this paper or confirming its non-existence would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I'd be interested to hear what you think of the paper.  I don't recall hearing anything about it, although I have heard other error in dating claims about mt saint helens or somebody's boot or baby tooth or something.
