Watching Nova right now. What a great show. I'd been watching Any Given Sunday on FX, but this show's so far covered learning and sleep, and watching rats have dreams about mazes, looking for the Higgs, and emergent phenomena and whether self-organizing systems lead to the beginning of life.

Isn't it great to be on the side of science?

Now it's that John Cleese science show. They're talking to a guy who can't recognize faces. How interesting.

I think Neil DeGrasse Tyson is one of the best voices we have for the side of good science. He's massively intelligent, well read, charismatic, and funny as hell too.
