PaV: I suppose for me to be pried away from what I do to focus long and hard on that particular problem would take, quite honestly, hundreds of thousands of dollars to begin to pique my interest.

Thank you all very much!  (sniff)  I'm so (sniff, mutter) choked up right now, I (sniffle, blows nose) didn't even know anybody, you know, cared or anything like that.  Forty-seven, btw, and I weigh the same as I weighed when I was 18.  Well, I DID, until about 9 months ago when I quit smoking cigarettes.  Then I instantly gained, er, um, er, ah, a couplea pounds.  Never mind. . . .

:)

I hope that my posts are constructive here - I know that I'm participating with people who are way out of my league, expertise/education-wise.  What is being done here is important, I've studied history enough to know what happens to people who turn away from or deny science/scientific discourse.  The last 8 years have really scared me.  It seems that many of you share those convictions.

THANK YOU ALL FOR LETTING ME BE A PART OF THIS FORUM!  YOU ALL ROCK!!

(puts on The Beatles' White Album for an obvious song)

YEAH WELL, I DON'T CARE THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW WE CARED.

HERE AT UD WE DON'T BELIEVE IN BIRTH SINCE IT'S A LOGICAL PROOF THAT JESUS' MOTHER WAS NOT A VIRGIN AND GOD DIDN'T BONE HER. (ALTHOUGH SINCE MICHELANGELO'S   PAINTING PROVES HE HAD A FINGER HE PROBABLY GOT HER WET...ANYWAY THAT'S ANOTHER STORY)

ANYWAY NO HARD FEELINGS ABOUT RUSTLING THE CHICKENS HERE AT UNCLE BILLY'S CHICKEN FARM. YOU REALLY HAD ME GOING THERE FOR A WHILE I HAD TO SIT ANOTHER IQ TEST JUST TO CHECK HOW SMART I WAS BEFORE I BANINATED YOU ....AGAIN.

HAPPY DE NOVO DAY. dt
