There's some sort of ID vs. evolution debate scheduled for NC State next week (I think - I just briefly saw a flyer). Does anyone (Steve S?) know about it?

I think it said it would be in Caldwell, but its been so long I can't remember if they have big lecture rooms.

I found more info on it. The sponsor is the Wake ACLU.

Here's the flyer if anyone's interested in attending.

I throw those ACLU things in the trash. I don't follow the local ACLU politics, though I should, being a member and all. After searching around the internet I don't see much about it. Is anybody going?

Something else brewing in North Carolina...

Another School Board Poised to Make a Mistake

I've sent a note off to the reporter, pointing out the trouble reporters had in the Dover case. Forewarned, forearmed, etc.

Another School Board Poised to Make a Mistake

A report in the Wilmington (NC) Star-News recounts interaction at the meeting of the Brunswick County School Board. It’s the same old religious antievolution.

When asked by a reporter, his fellow board members all said they were in favor of creationism being taught in the classroom.
