I used to live there (Indiana) and they have folks who are just as fundamental as Idaho or Kansas. When Marilyn Manson came to town for a concert, a whole group of fundies came to protest.  They all held hands around the arena to try and keep people from entering.  Then, after the concert started, they all formed a big prayer group to save all our souls (yes, I was watching the show, which also had Rasputina and Helmet.)
