Edit: These suits are inflatable exactly like your typical inflatable lawn ornaments. The fan will quite dutifully suck inside, and whip around like in a blender, any nearby free floating droplets from coughs or sneezes. Nice.

Health care workers stand in the street in counter-protest to hundreds of people who gathered at the State Capitol to demand the stay-at-home order be lifted in Denver, Colo., on Sunday, April 19, 2020. Photos by Alyson McClaran

(Note: These nurses were walking out into the crosswalks to cut off traffic as the lights changed in order to keep them from blocking cross streets. This helped enable traffic to flow near their hospital. This was not a "tit for tat gridlock" as some Covidiots are already trying to spin this into against the nurses.)

The healthcare counter-protest was Baller.

I’m considering moving to Portland and getting rid of my car, but I’ve looked into other places too and while Portland is 30% more expensive cost-of-living than the national average, can you believe that Denver is 60%???

East Texas is cheap af, and the winters are awesome, but you have to live with the people here and the fact you have to order most modern amenities online.

Haha only serious...

Various right-wing armed militia forcibly enter Michigan's state capitol building and House chamber, while state police guard Gov. Whitmer in place in the building. Pictures and video do not show social distancing or PPE being high on their priorities.

I haven't heard any reports of any of that crowd being arrested, shot, sat on, put in chokehold, had evidence planted on them, or even getting a parking ticket.

Someone pointed out that after the Black Panthers did much the same in Sacramento, some NRA-approved gun control legislation got signed into law by Gov. Reagan.

(CNN)An emergency proclamation requiring face masks in stores and restaurants in Stillwater, Oklahoma, was nixed after store and restaurant owners received threats.

The proclamation was issued Thursday. Among other things, the order made businesses require patrons to cover their faces to combat the spread of coronavirus.
But on Friday, Mayor Will Joyce softened the rule to encourage, not require, face coverings, after several reports emerged of employees being verbally abused and being threatened with physical violence while trying to enforce the order -- all in just three hours of the rule going into effect.
"Many of those with objections cite the mistaken belief the requirement is unconstitutional, and under their theory, one cannot be forced to wear a mask. No law or court supports this view," said City Manager Norman McNickle in a statement. "It is further distressing that these people, while exercising their believed rights, put others at risk."

When this news first started to appear, with people saying the White House liked a "cubic model" my brain automatically converted that to a "cubic splines model", because it couldn't even see the possibility that someone would be stupid enough to fit a cubic polynomial to this data, and be taken seriously.

Some covidiots are confusing this with Coxsackie virus, and saying that it is part of the coverup.

Lots of evidence coming together suggesting a high prevalence of cardiac injury even with asymptomatic infection.

Immunity is not worth a cardiac injury, given it’s limited regenerative potential you’re talking about potentially years of life lost and disability in survivors.

For instance this paper suggesting cardiac inflammation in majority of infected - not just hospitalized but asymptomatic as well. We just don’t know what the long term impact of this will be.
