I'm not sure if this has been discussed already but Slate has a pretty good (yet brief) article about the AIG "Peer Reviewed" Journal seen here

They include an entire copy of the AIG authors instruction manual.

There was a recent nutcase on Wikipedia (who claimed to be a scientist) that threw a fit because no one would let him get away with portraying AIG articles as peer-reviewed science.

So let me get this straight.. they claim that science is a dogma based around a predetermined concept of evolution, and that all current research is only accepted if it conforms to that concept.

And then they make a journal that is based around only accepting articles that conform to their preferred dogma, and call it peer review?

Oh well, let's hope this one lasts longer than the other pretend peer review creationist journals.  I mean it's all fun and games pointing to their web sites that show no publications in years, but come on.. I want articles that show genetic evidence that women were made from a rib bone, and that explain how snakes used to be able to speak.

The folks at AIG are either lazy or lack imagination.  If I were to swallow a "Dr. Evil" pill and head that orginization I would do all I could to solicit entries into a mock peer review process.  This would be great PR for all the tent meeting charlatans trying to sell their IDist snake oil.  "The theory of intelligent design is recognized by a growing number of prominent scientists who have published their findings in "Peer Reviewed" journals!"
And technically they would be telling the truth.
They wouldn't win any future court battles with this tactic and they would be sure to lose loads of respect from the true community of scientists --But their track record isn't good here anyway.
So, why not?

It's a good thing you're on our side... otehrwise we'd be looking at The MegaChurch headed by Pastor Bunny.  I'll bet you'd get pretty tired of those limos and private jets though.

Is it lazyness or is it
1. Just hard to make up this crap otherwise why recycle the same stuff over and over again. Dembski has had two ideas in how many years. Behe took a long time to make up enough stuff for his
2. Most of the stuff is so contradictory, keeping it all in one place would be embaressing.
3. Because of two -- who could peer review something that totally contradicts their own position. they would end up fighting amongst themselves and not the real enemy the elite left wing liberal atheist Muslim Darwinist media.

Y'know, maybe WE should set up a journal of ID 'research'. We could fill it with subtly nonsensical crap, which I'm sure would fool most of the IDiots.

If the rubes accepted the faux papers as evidence of ID, Dumbski et al would be reluctant to discredit them, and then, at some point in the future (when the ID movement had well and truly attached their cart to it), we could expose the journal as a fake (thus sending the cart over the edge of the cliff)!

Muhahahahahahahahhhaahahahahahah!

It would be Sokal on a grand scale.

Some say this has already happened.

Sokal is rightly recognized for his pioneering work in the field, but one shouldn't neglect recent advances in automation.

SCIgen - An Automatic CS Paper Generator should require only minor adjustment produce Answers Research Journal level output.
